We believe that each member of a local New Testament Church should seek to reach the lost for the Lord Jesus Christ on a regular basis. At Solid Rock Baptist Church we offer a variety of opportunities for people to serve the Lord. We hope that you will plan to be involved in the work that the Lord has given us to do.
Sunday SChool
Sunday School not only teaches the stories of the Bible to children and adults alike, but also trains, equips, and encourages each person to share the eternal truths that they have been taught with their family and friends. Sunday School also provides a great opportunity to fellowship with other believers and build friendships around the Word of God.
Nursery
Parents with young children are encouraged to take advantage of our nursery and preschool. Nursery facilities are provided near the auditorium in the event parents need to attend to their children, and nursery workers will happily care for your children so you can enjoy the service.
Outreach
As believers, we have the responsibility to be a witness to those in our own neighborhoods and communities as we live lives that honor Christ. As church we seek to reach the lost through special outreach opportunities, as well as through our weekly services.
Missions
Our mission is to obey the command of the Lord Jesus Christ to take the Gospel to the uttermost parts of the earth. Every believer has the responsibility to be a part of world evangelism through prayer, giving, and going. Jesus Christ has commanded that we pray the Lord of the harvest, that He would send forth laborers into His harvest. Our church helps to send forth laborers into the harvest, and we pray faithfully for the members of our missionary family.
